Avoid Costly Repairs!
We are a private utility locating company. We are able to locate blockages and collapses in non-metallic pipes or PVC pipe where access is available with accurate depth readings from the surface to the damaged area.
Electromagnetic Locating
EM has become the most commonly used means of locating under ground pipes, cables and sewers. We use the most advanced and most current software available to the market to date.
The Radiodection RD8000 Receiver and it’s T10 transmitter companion are the most sophisticated and are the industry leader in under ground utility locating.
- It can search an area from the surface to locate buried lines and pipes.
- It can trace and identify a target line.
- It can trace and identify sewers or other non-metallic ducts or pipes to which there is access; it can locate blockages and collapses.
- It can measure depth from the surface.
- It can find some types of cable fault to ground.
- Direct Connect Locating
- Induction Locating
- Fault Finding
- Locatable Jameson Rodder

Mala Geoscience Easy Locator
Easy Locator’s GPR technology complements standard Electromagnetic techniques in the field, providing you with a cost effective total solution. It can detect all material types, both metallic and non-metallic, including plastics, concrete, ceramics, asphalt composite and more. The data obtained in the field provides the user with the exact location of cables, pipes, duct banks, conduits, or depth to bedrock.
GPR is the only technology available that does not require a physical connection to the utility, nor does it rely on radiating electromagnetic (EM) fields that may or may not be present or detectable.
Gator Cam Sewer Line Inspections
At the heart of the GatorCam4 flexiprobe system are the ruggedized and weatherproofed GatorCam and GatorCam4+ flexiprobe controllers, with the GatorCam4+ controller featuring a built-in Lithium-Ion battery. Both controllers record high quality digital video or images with a single button press, and display them on an ultra-bright 8” TFT screen. Advanced digital capabilities mean that users can zoom, pan and rotate images during recording to focus in on problem areas. The GatorCam4(+) system can be adapted to many different inspection requirements:
- The 2″ (50mm) camera is self-levelling, always keeping the video picture upright when navigating a pipe.
- The GatorCam4 Plumbers reel (200’) is designed to push for longer distances.
Compact reel designs ensure that the systems are fully transportable, and protected in transit. A compatible sonde, skids, brushes and accessories completes the package, allowing inspection of pipes up to 9” (230mm) in diameter.
